Spoken language skills can be easily acquired

Discriminating against people because they cannot speak a language is not fair, because spoken language skills can be easily acquired after a little effort if a person lives in the area where the language is widely spoken.
Though the domain investor speaks hindi fairly fluently now, she did not speak hindi when she first came to mumbai at the age of 17.
Also she did not speak konkani fluently when she moved to goa 12 years ago. Yet when she left goa approximately 26 months earlier since her family were migrants, she spoke conversational konkani though she interacted with few people.
